Created out of high quality and durable 18/10 stainless steel base, Motta tampers will reliably and evenly pack the coffee grounds to make a great quality espresso. The ergonomic handle and weight of the tampers are designed with repetitive use in mind. Tamping is a essential part of the espresso brewing process, guaranteeing an even and levelled surface of coffee grounds allows for consistent flow, extraction, repeatability, and to minimise channelling. Product Types The Bubinga tamper features a timber handle over the stainless-steel base, while the 9 bar tamper has a uniquely shaped matt-black coated aluminium handle with grooves to fit the user’s fingers.
